Jeez, does this bring back memories! :-) Been there, done that, lost the brain cells. Haha! Good one Chuck. Your getting me itching to write up some of my own youthful idiocies and indiscretions (sp?).

This is heady stuff. I haven't been there at all. All the good acid was long gone by the time I was that age. I just got the stuff that made you feel you were in a cross between repulsion and some HP Lovecraft flavoured paranoid fantasy.

The point of this kind of writing, however, is that it makes those of us who never had such rich experiences of psychotropic substances feel as though we did. Whether this piece is based on personal experience or whether it is a wild diversion of the mind it has the feel of authenticity.

Having said all this and admitted my lack of happy acid trips there is something about the London underground that ties into the deepest depths of my soul and drags some weird **** out. I've had more dreams which took place in those tunnels than anywhere else. For me, however, its all quasi religious **** with demons and angels and arriving at stations with names like Pearlgate.

Very nice piece of work.

The so-called Summer of Love also known as the Acid Summer. It was all over very quickly. I still haven't figured out exactly what happened.
